What to bring with you to the Hospital - for Baby:

I have been going through some paperwork I have received from the midwife and different magazines - here is the list I put together - what to take with you when you go for your labour - for your baby:
  1. Baby sleep suits
  2. vests
  3. scratch mitts
  4. cotton wool
  5. nappies
  6. baby soap or bath preparation
  7. 2 towels
  8. 2 baby bonnets/hats
  9. 2 baby blankets
  10. pampers sensitive wipes
  11. car seat/carrier

What did you find useful yourself previously or what are you bringing with you for your baby? Remember this list is for the baby only. Any special offers on any of these?

Introduction

Hi, there! Expecting your first or next child brings a lot of expenses to take into consideration. I am 19 weeks myself and expecting my first one and going through loads of dilemmas of what is best to buy, but at the same time we all want to save at least a little as it's an expensive few years in front of us, mums... What is the best buy in prams, pushchairs, cots, baby clothes, and even pampers, the list can be very long. There are a lot of special offers around all the time, and some are even free if you write in, just pay for postage... I would like to invite comments from other mums about what, where and how much so we can all benefit, but we cannot all know about the right places to shop! So common.. let's get started!
